Philadelphia Cherry Blossom Mini Sessions
Springtime in Philly brings forth one of my absolute favorite backdrops -- the cherry blossoms. Recently, I had the pleasure of hosting Philadelphia cherry blossom mini sessions among these blooms, and the result was magical.
Although the journey getting there was not quite as magical as I would have hoped! Last minute date changes, location changes, sudden rain, and crowded locations were the ingredients to this cherry blossom recipe. But even with all of these challenges, my clients and I still had a blast, and captured dreamy, timeless photos that will forever preserve the love and connection between these lovely families. And that is what truly matters!
But to be honest, I did this to myself. I try my very best to ensure the best experience for my clients. So I wanted to be sure sure we wouldn't miss the blooms (cue the date change since the trees bloomed early this year); I originally wanted a spot tucked away from the crowds but came to find that my location had been trimmed
(cue switching to the crowded location); and the rain, well there's not much I can do about sudden rain, but we still made it work! In the end, the headache that I created for myself was worth it because the end result was these absolutely beautiful images that my clients will cherish forever.
