Philadelphia's Best Family Photographer | Fishtown Milestone Session

Bottle feeding vs. breastfeeding? Sleep training vs. cosleeping? Baby-led weaning vs. baby food? There are SO many ways that parents differ. But what is something that all parents have in common? If I had to guess, I’d say sleep deprivation. Definitely lack of sleep. Wanting to sleep more. I’ve personally never met a parent who wasn’t somewhat sleep-deprived.

I am a “morning person” now only because of my children. I typically would never choose to get up earlier than 7. But alas, having kids changes a lot of things. So when we scheduled this session for 7am, I didn’t really think much of it since my son has been loving waking up at 5:45 AM anyway!

There’s lots of benefits to having a sunrise/dawn session. One is that you beat the heat in the summer! And another is that the lighting is extra soft and dreamy. So if you have an early riser, don’t be afraid to ask me to schedule your session bright and early! Because hey, I’ll already be up anyway!
