Philadelphia's Best Family Photographer | The Highlands Mansion Family Session
You know when you're really excited for something but then things quickly go sideways and you're just like "oh crap"? Well that's how this session started. Jessica and I had gone back and forth trying to find the perfect location for our photo session. We settled on The Highlands Mansion & Garden, everything was set, and we were all excited! That is until we arrived at our location. What friends had promised to be a stunning location confounded us all. THIS bleak parking lot is our location?!
Basically when you pull up it’s just a big house and a parking lot. It doesn’t look like something people would be raving about. So while I was wracking my brain for how to make this location look magical, I took a stroll around the house. As I rounded the corner and opened the gate, I let out a huge sigh of relief. There was a HUGE garden tucked away that was extremely discrete from the parking lot. Not only was it huge, but it was absolutely worth all of the anxiety up to that moment. I still dream about the garden and am blown away by its beauty. So if you want serious Bridgerton vibes, please book me for a session here. And just don’t be fooled by the deceptive outside 😉
