What to expect at your family portrait session

What do you think of when you picture getting family photos done? Is it something like "Look at the camera & say cheese!" or maybe you imagine rigid posing and forced smiles. Reluctant participants & yawning partners.

One of my favorite things about my sessions is seeing genuine family memories being made. Everyone giggling, being silly with each other, and having a fun time. That will always be my goal with family sessions--making it fun and genuine. I definitely aim for those money shots where everyone is looking & smiling at the camera. But I absolutely love the candid moments between family members, where laughs & hugs are being shared, loving looks are being given, & inside jokes are being cracked.

How much you love your final portraits is connected to how much you enjoyed your session. Be assured that when you spend a session with me, you will create a special family memory and beautiful images to remember it by.

So expect a lot of giggles. Lots of hugs. Lots of natural movement. Lots of fun.
